Initial Prototype Release v0.1

The Client, Cosy Kangaroo, is seeking a new Restaurant Information System to launch alongside the expansion of its operations. Cosy Kangaroo is a restaurant-café based on Glenferrie Road. Having recently acquired a neighbouring property to the existing building, the Owners are seeking to increase the capacity of the restaurant from 50 patrons to 150 patrons. The increased capacity now requires a new information system to replace the existing procedure.

Currently, staff at Cosy Kangaroo complete these operations manually, such as taking orders from customers, passing these orders onto the Kitchen staff, and completing accounting operations. While this has been managed up until now, the additional capacity will make manual tasks harder to accomplish and slow down the operations of Cosy Kangaroo. The new system will allow the Client Staff to automate these procedures, reduce administration wait times and allow customers to be better informed about menu items that can be purchased, be that for an in-house order, or for Take Away.
