Employee Reimbursement System (ERS) - 220103 Java w/ETL Next Gen The Employee Reimbursement System (ERS) is a full-stack web application that helps manage the process of reimbursing employees for courses, certifications, seminars, and other professional development events. All employees in the company can login to submit requests for reimbursement and view their past tickets and pending requests. Finance managers can log in to view all reimbursement requests and past history for all employees in the company. Finance managers are authorized to approve and deny requests for expense reimbursement.
Created a PostgreSQL database that holds user and reimbursement information. Managed relationships between database tables. Utilized JDBC to access database information in a Maven project. Implemented the Front Controller design pattern to perform CRUD operations. Performed test cases using JUnit and performed server-side tests using Postman. Controlled web behavior using JavaScript and AJAX. Organized web content using HTML 5. Designed minimalistic webpages using Bootstrap 4.
