Feature Request: Translations

Would it be possible to translate the Bot?

Or can I help translate it into French?

Howdy!

I've been toying with the idea to add in language support. Now that we have someone actually asking for it, it'd be nice to seriously look at trying to do it. However, real life is a bit busy for me for a little while longer. Once that calms down in a couple weeks, I can sit down to actually take a look at it.

The way I see it, once we have the framework to support languages, we will need help with the actual translation.

Consider it as a planned feature for now, but I don't want to make any definite promises on it at this time.

Wanted to provide an update here. @xlatb has done the work to get the process of allowing translations started. If you're curious on the progress, you can check the translation branch. Here's the latest commit that gets the groundwork laid. It's still in development, and needs more work, but progress on this hasn't stood still!
