This update prepares Jiayi for the upcoming language selector.

Launcher changes:

• Fixed an issue that duplicated mods after editing
• Updated Chinese and Taiwanese strings - #43
• A potential fix has been put in place related to the version and shader managers when removing a version
• The launcher now applies minimize fix on startup according to the setting's value
• Improved setting info localization

Installer changes (v1.2.0):

• The installer now copies the launcher's default theme to the install path. This was preventing the launcher from opening for new users
• Added version checking to the .NET installation step, in case the wrong version of .NET is installed
• Modified the extracting process to delete (almost) everything inside of the install path before extracting

Launcher changes:

• Reworked the shader manager entirely
  • A new UI has been introduced
  • You can now add any file compressed with the zip format as a shader pack
  • This includes Minecraft resource pack files intended to be used with BetterRenderDragon
  • As long as there are material files anywhere inside of the file, it will be added
• Some translations have been updated, but strings are still missing from others. We need your help!
• Notice the decrease in file size? You're welcome 🤗

Installer changes:

• JiayiInstaller has been renamed to JiayiLauncher.Installer
• The installer is now responsible for managing all file associations

Jiayi Launcher v1.11.0-beta1 - Patch Notes

• Jiayi has been moved to a new framework
  • This should bring more stability throughout the launcher
  • Don't mind the file size of the package. We're working on it
• Jiayi now has translations for English (UK), Spanish, Chinese, Taiwanese, Romanian, and Pirate Speak, with more languages on the way
  • Language is set based on your device language
  • Changing the launcher's language manually in the settings is planned
  • We are looking for translators! Join our Discord server and ping a developer to get started.

Known issues:

• Mod controls poke out while hidden for some languages
• The shader manager is missing; it is being redesigned and will return shortly
• There is no way to access the Pirate Speak language (sorry Hammond!)
• Some strings may be missing from some languages. Admittedly, the initial launch of the translator program was unorganized. Please report any missing strings you see to a developer, and the right translator will add those strings.

• The launcher no longer freezes on startup while trying to generate the version list
• Fixed a crash related to game install location

Big changes

• Added offline mode
  • Automatically enabled when no internet connection is present
  • Can be enabled manually in the settings, under the Network category
  • Web mods are disabled, new Minecraft versions cannot be downloaded, and the version list will not be updated
  • Please report any issues you may face, as this is a big feature
• Jiayi now generates the version list locally instead of fetching it from the server
  • This will happen on startup, and can be updated manually in settings
  • You should be getting new Minecraft updates faster, as there is no longer a bot that checks Microsoft's servers every few hours
  • Again, report any issues with this new feature

Little changes

• The launcher now shares one HttpClient, meaning a socket will not be created for almost every request
• Follow redirects was moved to the new Network category in settings
• Changed default background image brightness to 100% (for real this time)
• Updated credits
