Craft an improvised tent with tarp and tape, or hunt some bears and build a proper tent. Sleep our in the open without worries, as tents have collisions (on scene reload) and can even block wind!
Use tanning racks to dry pelts faster, even outdoors!

5 maps, scattered around Bear Island. You can survey them to reveal the whole map of the region. They're more common in places you least expect them to. Look carefully. Once surveyed, they go to the collectibles tab, with some information about the region.
