Add OpenTimestamps proofs for release signatures? #1317

I guess it's a good idea. I actually stopped OTS-ing my commits a little while back because I switched machines but I didn't get round to setting it up again. I agree for releases there's a bit more value there. |
It usually takes more time to find where was that guide than to actually do it (but now I have linked it here, will be more easy to find it again when I will need it). :) |
So, it's set up again, and I just realise: since I always sign the tag, it's basically already going to be done right. |
Closing, OTS proofs added to v0.9.7 release. Now just need to not forget it for next release. :) |
Currently both me and @AdamISZ timestamp our git commits with OpenTimestamps (here's guide if others want to start doing that too). Since v0.15.0 LND has started to also timestamp releases. Maybe we should also do that?
