# To commit local changes to remote repo:

# Add changes to index:
$ git add <filename>
# or
$ git add *

# Commit changes to HEAD (local HEAD not remote repo):
$ git commit -m "Commit message"

# Push local HEAD to remote repo:
$ git push origin master     # (prompts for username jonnykelso and password speccySP1!)


# To update local repo to newest commit:
$ git pull


# Examine the git log:
$ git log



# To replace local changes:
$ git checkout -- <filename>  # this replaces the content in local working tree with contents in local HEAD.
