Nice feature idea from discourse: status --tree mode that prints a tree of dependencies. It's unclear how to deal with the dependency graph being a DAG rather than a tree (i.e. repeat dependencies); perhaps print the subtree only the first time? We could also have some kind of fancy Unicode DAG drawing mode.

I feel like this could be outsourced to a package that can output .dot files from a Manifest.
