Account sharing problem

Hey there,
I am currently trying to set up my raspberry pi to farm steam trading cards for me, but I am wondering: Could this get my account banned for account sharing? It's two IPs obviously, and I don't know, how the account sharing system works, so I hope you understand my curiosity.

Well I want to know, if two different IPs accessing your account can count as account sharing - I think that's what it does at least

For several years I had logins to my steam accounts from 3 locations (with 3 different public IPs). None of them got banned. Even if your raspberry pi has a different public IP than your normal PC: chances are minimal (unless you do some shady/stupid shit with your accounts. in that case it doesnt even matter whether you use ASF or not).

It's normal for a lot of people using ASF (including me) to idle on dedicated servers or VPSes. While obviously I can't guarantee that you won't get banned (see FAQ), I can say that I don't know of any occurance of such thing happening, neither it happened to me since 2015 when I released ASF for the first time.

Whether that is enough for you or not, only you can determine. If you ask me for opinion, I really doubt that you can run into issues if there is no other person you're sharing the account with, and using it only for your own personal purpose. Doing so on other machine than your desktop shouldn't be a problem, Valve can clearly see the pattern of whether it's a person or automated tool accessing the account.
