Changes since V4.0.4.3:
- [!] ASF V4.1 opens a new minor milestone due NET Core 3.0 runtime upgrade*.
Versionproperty of/Api/ASFIPC endpoint is now astringdue to .NET Core changes. This is a breaking change for those that are using it.- Latest ASF-ui with new features, improvements and bugfixes.
- Usual amount of other core improvements, optimizations and bugfixes.
* .NET Core runtime upgrade brings a lot of under-the-hood changes, bugs fixed, compatibility enhancements, performance improvements and more. As usual, OS-specific users do not need to do anything extra as there are no prerequisites changes, generic users will need to upgrade their runtimes to match. Plugin creators should recompile their plugins targetting 3.0.
Due to dotnet/linker#764 problem, OS-specific images are not being trimmed yet, resulting in a bit bigger size of ASF's OS-specific packages. Trimming will hopefully return in one of the future versions, once blocking mono-linker issues are fixed. This problem doesn't affect ASF's performance, compatibility or any other aspect of the project, only a size difference, therefore it's not a blocker for V4.1 stable release.
