How to update to the new version

  1. Download and extract the new version somewhere (see "How to install the new version" section just below).
  2. If your old YUMI folder contains files "YUMI_Config.txt" and/or "YUMI_Themes.txt", move them inside the new YUMI folder (the one that you just extracted).
  3. Delete your old YUMI folder.

Note that moving files "YUMI_Config.txt" and "YUMI_Themes.txt" at step 2 is optional (it allows you to not loose your current configuration and themes).

How to install the new version

For modding games made for Windows/Proton/Wine, 32 or 64 bits, download archive "YUMI_v1.0.5_Win_x86_64.zip" and extract it.
For modding games made for UNIX systems (Linux/MacOS/SteamOS), 32 or 64 bits, download archive "YUMI_v1.0.5_Unix_x86_64.zip" and extract it.

Usage

Simply launch the executable.
If you are modding a game made for Windows or Proton or Wine, the executable is called "YUMI.exe".
If you are modding a game made for Linux or MacOS or SteamOS, the executable is called "YUMI-x86_64.AppImage".

Changelogs of this version:

  • Added an "Installing mod... Please wait" window when YUMI is installing a mod.
  • Mod developers can now specify mod version. To do so, add a file called "ModName_version.txt" next to the main DLL (add the version string inside the file, and replace "ModName" with the name of the DLL). See wiki for more info.
  • Added Fuat (K8) in the contributors list (in "About" window).
  • Renamed "Türk" to "Türkçe" in the language selection list (in "Settings" window).
  • Increased timeouts for web requests (some people with bad internet connection were not able to download BepInEx).
  • Fixed a bug which was preventing installation of mod archive files containing "." in their name.
  • Bumped version number to 1.0.5.

This is a hotfix to version 1.0.1 (some download URLs were incorrect).
