Russian Strife is a Doom source port based on Chocolate Doom and intended for the game Strife: Quest for the Sigil. Its aim is to provide a full translation and voiceover of Strife while remaining faithful to the original game and engine.
The port is rooted in Russian Doom; development on it began due to the latter project not supporting Strife. In translating the game, a past translation of Strife developed by Ameba, theleo_ua and bed.intruder was used as a base. Above all, the port contains a full Russian voiceover of Strife.
All resources specified in this document are either works of the port developer or have been used with the approval of their respective authors.
The engine and all materials, files and source code are licensed under the GNU GPL v2.
«Русский Strife» — русскоязычный порт, основанный на Chocolate Doom и предназначенный для игры Strife: Quest for the Sigil. Цель проекта — полностью перевести и озвучить игру на платформе, максимально близкой к оригиналу.
Свои корни порт берёт в проекте «Русский Doom», а его разработка была начата в связи с отсутствием в последнем поддержки игры Strife. За основу перевода игры был взят русификатор Strife за авторством моддеров Ameba, theleo_ua и bed.intruder. Кроме того, в порт включена полная русская озвучка Strife.
Все указанные в документе ресурсы либо представляют собой авторские работы создателя порта, либо используются с одобрения авторов.
