Obviously there are a huge bunch of various jabber bots available
but each that I had seen offer a-lot-of-commands rather than cool API.
shitsu aims to be pythonic, pep8-compatible, clean and simple framework
with the main purpose to make it easy to write a new module for your needs.
- Minimal core: such commands as alias/join/leave implemented as common
modules; even load/modprobe modules could be bootstraped
(you could load your load while you load). - Strong xhtml-im focusing - we should use all clients capabilities not
just plain text. - Easy installation on both platforms, zero-dependency (except python).
- Nice API, threading, ACL, ini-style config, aliases out of the box.
(There are a lot of methods - setuptools, distribute, pip, virtualenv,
etc. be we will examine the simpliest one.)
