The code found in the master branch is targeted towards the latest source build of ROS2. In case you're building against the latest binary release (crystal), you're finding a compatible tag to it.

Linux Tutorial While the tutorial is written for a Linux system, the functionality is the same for MacOS and Windows, only the system setup and the shell used vary.
