It would be nice to introduce GPaste as a Flatpak app so it can be easily installed from Flathub on any Linux distribution. This would also be great for Flatpak-powered distros such as the Fedora Silverblue.
I'm not sure if there are any technical limitations preventing GPaste to work as a Flatpak but I see that there is one clipboard manager on Flathub already (CopyQ). It is just not very native looking to Gnome.
As a more of an unofficial alternative, it looks like any app can be created as a Flatpak and submitted by the Flathub community directly without the involvement of the developer as long as the upstream developer is happy with this.
Thanks for your time and for considering this!
