Apparently gpaste doesn't really need 1.77.2 ?

Gnome 45 comes with gjs 1.78 right ?

It hasn't been tested with older versions

Not really, it's more of an issue with upgrade path in debian from gnome 44 to 45.
I just patched it to allow a lesser version of gjs.
