<copy-element>

A copyright element using VanillaJS.

Install

Install the component using Bower:

$ bower install copy-element --save

Or download as ZIP.

Usage

  1. Import Web Components' polyfill:

    <script src="bower_components/platform/platform.js"></script>
  2. Import Custom Element:

    <link rel="import" href="bower_components/copy-element/src/copy-element.html">
  3. Start using it!

    <copy-element start-year="2007">My Awesome Company</copy-element>
    <copy-element>My Awesome Company</copy-element>

Options

Attribute Options Default Description
start-year int undefined (Optional) If provided, then the year in which the copyright took effect will be included in the copyright statement.

Development

In order to run it locally you'll need to fetch some dependencies and a basic server setup:

  • Install Bower:

    $ [sudo] npm install -g bower
  • Install local dependencies:

    $ bower install
  • To test your project, just launch the index.html page.

Contributing

  1. Fork it!

  3. Commit your changes: git commit -m 'Add some feature'
  4. Push to the branch: git push origin my-new-feature
