It works with everything else but not Everything actions. Example:

I typed s, scrolled down until I found this action, and then after using it it does not show at the top when I type s again.

Actually, it doesn't seem to work for certain other plugins. I'm guessing it's the way these actions are created?

I cannot reproduce the issue, at least not with the item you used as an example (i.e. Everything: Search).

For the keyword to be effectively associated, the item must be executed.

Try it with the Apps package enabled. I disabled a bunch of packages except a few super basic ones, and without the apps package I was able to get Everything: Search to become #1 for s, but with all the apps it didn't rise to the top.

Getting the same issue. Clicking on any of the everything: search options after typing "e" "ev" or "ev:" doesn't create an association. Disabling the apps package doesn't make a difference.

Again, I tested with a fresh install and default config. Scrolled to and selected the Everything: Search item by hitting Tab, then typed some chars and opened some item (it was a folder). Then, invoked KP again, typed s and got the Everything: Search item on the top of the list.

What's your KP's config?

@polyvertex thank you, I was having this problem as well, but I had hit enter to select "Everything: Search" which did not remember the association. Using tab as you said works.

Ran into the same issue today. I would consider it a bug that the keyword association works if you use tab, but not when you use enter, although both keys do the exact same thing in this case.
