Volume word problems

"A water tank is 2 feet high, 7 feet long, and 6 feet wide. A solid metal box which is 1 feet high, 1 feet long, and 1 feet wide is sitting at the bottom of the tank. The tank is filled with water.

What is the volume of the water in the tank?"

The way this question is worded, the cube that's sitting at the bottom of the tank, could be interpreted to be under the tank. The working of the question should be made more clear to let the students know that the cube is within the tank displacing water.
