How can i wait for a asynchronus request between two calls??

I need wait for a response to use a response.value in next call that i make after first one automatically.
How i could make this?

It's foro PHP. I needed post a request wich returns a id Number and with that id i request another Api call asap i get it but the Api need 2 or 3 seconds between this calls to check first call(imagen are in)
