Does this library handle parsing ChatGPT ouput? (markdown, tables, lists, etc)

Just wondering if you handle parsing various ChatGPT output formats.

@wamoyo OpenAI already parses/output these formats without symbols (including math, something it used to not but it gradually copies popular userscripts like my ChatGPT Widescreen and the LaTeX Renderer) and this library copies the rendered output w/ no symbols with the get() and getReply() functions. What type of project are you building btw?

Thanks! Nothing crazy, just a text-based leadership training game (it's kinda fun!). I wrote up a system message for ChatGPT and tweaked settings, and I have the streaming API sending text/html to my client side, now I just need to format those streaming chunks, and I feel kinda stuck coding the parsing logic from scratch. ChatGPT is helping : ) But I feel like someone must have already built a parser for the text output of ChatGPT. It's basically markdown plus ASCI tables and a few more things. Just having trouble finding a library. I think I'm going to code it from scratch.

Sounds awesome, indeed ChatGPT is quite helpful and should help with coding such a parser in no time!

@wamoyo how's it coming along? I added a renderHTML() method just now https://github.com/chatgptjs/chatgpt.js/blob/main/chatgpt.js#L581 inspired by your needs, it should work with lists/tables, for markdown you could use it to guide you to make a renderMD() (and even contribute it to the lib!)
