Newly typed characters not colored in generator #1490

Describe the bug

Digits and punctuations in password field are expected to be colored. It behaves well for saved string and generated string. However, all the manually typed characters do not get colored.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. type words in password field
  2. see the inconsistence

Expected behavior

All manually typed digits get colored.

KeePassDX:

  • Version: 3.5.0 Beta01
  • Build: f-droid
  • Language: Simplified Chinese

Android:

  • Device: POCO F2 Pro
  • Version: Android 12

Thanks for the fix, it works. However, the same issue still exists in the password generator.

This has another effect: it is no longer possible to delete with a long press on the delete key. But that's not really a problem.
