Hentaigana Input

Input method for archaic Japanese characters.

Usage

• Download the desktop app and run hentaigana_input or use the web app.

• Type the romaji for a character corresponding to a dictionary value.

• Press the number/symbol next to the character you want on your keyboard or click on the character you want to insert.

Hentaigana Fonts

Babelstone Han comes built in to this program.

• BableStone Han

• IPA MJ Mincho Version 5.01 and later

• Hanazono Mincho

• Hanazono Mincho AFDKO

• UniHentaiKana

• Uraniwa Mincho X

Notes

• This was previously written using GTK4 (it now uses egui). The last GTK4 build was on release tag 0.0.5 and commit 2949d07ec8cb99e789caf39a8853fee748f54559.
