Export image to second project

In cases where two crystal forms are present in makes sense to merge these two forms separately. Thus 2dx provides the option to copy an image to a second project in order to compare the two different reconstruction. In cases with multiple crystal forms we strongly encourage to use the here described procedure.

  1. To make the copying much faster run the cleanup script first.
  2. Select the custom script Prepare 2nd project.
  3. Provide the target destination of the second project.
  4. Run the Prepare 2nd project script. This will initialise the second project and copy the merge directory.
  5. Right-click on the image to be moved and select the option "copy image to second project".
  6. After moving all corresponding images open the second project and run Repair project links.
