This repository presents the four most used limits for the Atlantic Forest and two new integrative limits proposed for ecological and biogeographical studies. The limits were reviewed and presented by Muylaert et al. (2018).
Reviewed limits: 🗺️

Proposed limits: 🧭
- Integrative limit: corresponds to the union of the four limits reviewed.
- Integrative limit (:new: updated v1.1.0): corresponds to the union of the four limits reviewed, adjusted according to the Brazilian territory (IBGE, 2020).
- Consensual limit: corresponds to the intersection of the four limits reviewed.
The repository presents the shapefiles of all limits, in geographical projection (lat-long) and Datum WGS-84 as well as in Albers projection and Datum SAD69. Furthermore, the repository presents the references that defined each of the limits, and a script in R to analyze the area and the overlap of the limits.
Este repositório apresenta os quatro limites mais utilizados para a Mata Altântica, além de dois novos limites propostos para estudos ecológicos e biogeográficos. Os limites foram revisados e apresentados por Muylaert et al. (2018).

- Limite integrador: corresponde à união dos quatro limites acima.
- Limite integrador (:new: atualizado v1.1.0): corresponde à união dos quatro limites acima, ajustada de acordo com a malha territorial brasileira (IBGE, 2020).
- Limite consensual: é a simples interseção dos quatro limites acima.
O repositório apresenta os shapefiles de todos os limites, tanto em projeção geográfica (lat-lon). Além disso, o repositório apresenta as referências que definiram cada um dos limites, e um script em R para a análise da área e diferenças e similaridades dos limites.
