Lasso works once, then I have to relog.

So I was using the lasso for a bit and it worked fine, but now I have to rejoin every time I use it. I can pick up and place 1 mob no problem, but the second time I try to do it, it doesn't work, and is just considered me hitting a mob until I relog again.

Hi Mayophobia. This is a new one for me. I'd just like a little more info so I am more aware of the conditions. I assume since you are talking about rejoining this is on a server.

1.) Are you using this with a modpack of some kind?
2.) What version of minecraft are you playing on? 1.19.x or 1.18.x?
3.) Was this mod added to an existing world or was it present when the world was generated?

No that's okay, I was just more curious if it was similar conditions to the other issue that's been reported. In #15 and from someone else's report on Curseforge it seems to be a similar story of the mod being added to an existing world, except in that case it wasn't picking up entities at all. My guess would be if you tested your modlist on a fresh world, it would work without you having to relog. (You don't actually have to do this, I'm just making an assumption) It's an annoying issue that I am yet to get to the root cause of as so far my attempts to reproduce this have been unsuccessful.

I am planning on releasing a very minor optimisation/clean up update either tomorrow or Friday. Now I'm not entirely convinced this will fix this issue. But if you do update the mod, please do let me know if it does fix it, or if it doesn't change anything or if causes some other problem.

I am still looking into to what might be causing this, but currently I am unsure. For now, I just want to say thank you for checking out the mod and for reporting this to me. It is very much appreciated and does help. 😃

I've done a small update with some minor changes and clean up. As I said, not 100% convinced this will fix the issue you are facing as it's still a bit of a question mark for me right now, but if you would like to try out the update it can be found here: Release 1.1.1 MC 1.19.x

Well that's promising to hear at least! Yes if it's resolved itself, just be sure that you back up your world and/or server before you do the update just in case it causes the same weird problem again. I am beginning to suspect this may not be something I can fix outright but I'm hoping that this is the outcome for most people.

I will be closing this issue as #15 more or less covers the same kind of issue, but should you have any different issues please do come and open a new one. Thanks again for your support and for playing with my mod. 😄
