Added the option to calculate the resolution function (as FWHM, H) for powder diffraction with area detectors. This feature is currently in test phase, feedback is very welcome! The estimated FWHM (H, in degrees) is shown in the bottom right corner. The interested user is referred to the article: On the resolution function for powder diffraction with area detectors, D. Chernyshov et al., Acta Cryst. (2021). A77, 497-505.
You can have contour labels placed dynamically (conic_label_auto, default=True). The labels should now find a suitable spot on the conic, for unusual geometries they might jump around a little but it’s good enough and helpful I think.
You can select an automatic theta range to display the conics. This tries to keep the number of visible conics constant (conic_tth_auto, default=True) and solves the problem of large detector distances.
Colors are displayed in the Export window and a colorpicker is shown upon change.
Bugfix from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1: FWHM was displayed in radians rather than degrees, fixed!
