Version 1.5.0

Added:

  • Ability to edit all friendly sides in Zeus
  • Ability to edit enemies in Zeus (you must check the option "Allow editing non-friendly units")

Improved:

  • Zeus interface can now open slightly faster in bigger maps
  • Future proof method for detecting medical items (except for ACE and other mods with non-vanilla medical features)

Fixed:

  • Medical items from GM and SOG were not detected.
  • Minor fixes to misc medical features

Added:

  • New options for disabling AI medic abilities (revive and drag/carry)
  • New options for customizing revive cheat (revive duration and permanent death timeout)
  • Copy My Stance feature now mentions the unit numbers for whom the feature was enabled/disabled.

Fixed

  • ACE medical: AI not performing CPR correctly
  • Heal Task: Units above ground are no longer checked for being medics/wounded.
  • AI medics would only drag one unit.
  • AI would sometimes get stuck after dragging a unit.
  • The gray "Wait for a medic" screen sometimes didn't disappear.
  • Disabling the mod in settings would not always disable the mod properly.
  • Follow command didn't work for some vehicles.
  • Units disappearing from vehicles after save (due to a game bug)
  • Fixed an infinite loop that caused some functions, like Become Leader On Team Switch, to never work
  • Fixed auto stance warning spam for dead units

Improved:

  • Added SQF bytecode to almost all functions, which improves performance (faster game launch + faster code execution)
  • Minor tweaks and perf improvements
  • Drag and carry animations should look better now (both for player and AI).
  • Minor performance tweaks.

Added

  • New action for launching flares. Note: it's similar to the "assemble" action. i.e, you point the cursor to where you want the AI to be, and your direction will determine the launch direction. Alternatively you can use the map (open the map before selecting which round to fire, i.e when you see the * sign in the menu item, again similar to the "assemble" action)
  • New option for disabling the High Command menu.

Fixed

  • Error when refreshing group
  • Occasional error when opening the waypoint UI when unit had no valid rank, or was dead.

  • Formations: Added missing Staggered Column formation.

Removed:

  • Formations: W and M formations were removed from the list of formations. They'll be re-added when they work.

Improved:

  • Artillery Support: Improved detection of artillery units/vehicles. Also, vehicles that have no artillery rounds left are no longer shown in the list of available units.

The mod had been removed from the workshop due to several game breaking bugs. Hopefully, they're fixed with this release. If you find any other broken features, please report them to be fixed ASAP.

Fixed:

  • General: Many leftover debug and test codes that had broken the mod.
  • Mount: Units passing through the vehicle when mounting.
  • Mount: Sometimes units couldn't disembark one vehicle and get into another.
  • Super Pilot: Incorrect flight behavior at 2x and 4x time accelerations.
  • Landing (super pilot mode): Helicopter taking off after landing.
  • Super Pilot: Gunner camera shaking in some helicopters.
  • Super Pilot: Some helicopters were too fast/slow.
  • Slingload: Dropping cargo using WP UI was broken.

Improved:

  • Super Pilot: More realistic flight mechanics
  • Super Pilot: Faster helicopter analyzer code (faster Super Pilot initialization)
  • Super Pilot: Helicopter can fly for a few seconds with engine off if there's enough torque.
  • Slingload: The pilot should drop the cargo from a safer height now.
