Objectives: Introduce fundamental techniques of statistical data analysis for bachelor and graduate students majoring in meteorology and oceanography. Contents include data processing, calculation of properties in meteorology and oceanography, basic and advanced statistical methods and their application in meteorology and oceanography. This course is made to cover some fundamental data analysis knowledge which may not be taught in class but you do need for research projects.
