Debian-buster Vagrant box fails to restart after being halted #812
Comments
My think this is something to do with the image we use and hopefully it will be fixed by moving to the official image once Buster is released offically |
Please see if PR #824 fixes the issue |
I have been unable to reproduce this on the libvirt backend. I will try again once I have set up virtual box on my laptop |
I haven't been able to reproduce this using VirtualBox and the "generic/debian10" images either. It looks like the error is occurring with |

Describe the bug
I've run into this where the debian-buster vagrant image works upon initial creation with vagrant up debian-buster (other than requiring mods for liquidsoap 1.3 that we haven't done).
But then when I halt it and then try to bring it back up again it fails to properly initialize with the following error.
To Reproduce
vagrant up debian-buster
vagrant halt debian-buster
vagrant up debian-buster
- second time it fails to load and you can't use vagrant to access it although the virtualbox image is still runningTo get it working again you need to do
vagrant destroy debian-buster
and then bring it back up again and it'll work the first time.Expected behavior
You should be able to halt and bring up the virtualbox.
