Do not report issues when using the Virtual Desktop or ALVR drivers for SteamVR, this is not supported by Revive.

Describe the bug
The new game Zenith The Last City just released, I launched the game via revive like I do with other oculus games. Except the game will not register my index controllers. In the game it just shows two oculus touch controllers on the ground. Bought it for crossbuy to play on PC and standalone.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch steamvr
  2. On PC taskbar right click revive and enabled "Use OpenVR Runtime"
  3. Launch Zenith The Last City from revive tab inside steamvr
  4. Game Launches but not controller response

Expected behavior
What is expected is to use index controllers how I usually use them for over games used on revive

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • App: [Zenith The Last City]
  • OS: [Win10]
  • Headset: [Index]

Versions (please complete the following information):

  • Revive: 3.0.0.0
  • SteamVR: 1.20.4

Once steamVR is open, exit revive via the tray icon and re-launch it.

Found a work around had to quit revive and launch it again then seemed to work but have to do that each time I launch steamvr.

Having the same issue, but the following workaround works for me to allow playing the Oculus Rift version of Zenith on my Quest 2 using SteamVR through Remote Desktop:

  • Connect via Remote Desktop application
  • Launch SteamVR (This should automatically launch Revive once you're in the steamVR environment)
  • Close Revive from the desktop notification tray icon
  • Launch Revive again
  • Right-click the notification tray icon and check "Use OpenVR Runtime"

Once all of that is done, Zenith can be launched as normal from the Revive dashboard until you either close or restart steamVR.
I find that Remote Desktop gives me a much smoother experience than Air Link, and there are some really great steamVR plugins out there, so for me it's worth the extra effort to go this route instead of just relying on Oculus Air Link to play the Oculus store version of Zenith.
