Extract the openvr_api.dll into your LA Noire folder and replace the existing DLL.

You can find the LA Noire folder by right-clicking the game in your Steam Library and opening the Properties, then select Local Files > Browse Local Files.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Download openvr_api.zip.
  2. Right-click the game in your Steam Library and click on Properties.
  3. Go to the Local Files tab, click on Browse Local Files.
  4. Extract the openvr_api.dll from the zip file into the folder that just opened, replace the existing file.
  5. Enjoy L.A. Noire VR on any headset.

Helpful Tips

The game asks you to press the Right Menu Button at some point, on your Oculus Touch this is bound to the B button.

Later it will tell you to select a menu option and press your Right Trackpad. Look to your left to see the options on the brick wall, then press your Right Thumbstick to select an option.
