I was in LBRS with my party last night (21/02/2019). We got the poison debuff from Mother Smoulderweb, then proceeded to HS to Kargath, and fly to Flame Crest.
When interacting with Ragged John, a short text message appears, can't remember what it said exactly, but he doesn't pinch you and the quest is unable to complete.

We tried deleting WDB folder, abandoning the quest and taking it up again, and disabling all addons, nothing worked.
