Working on a server with no GUI? Don't want to use any browsers? Or you just enjoy the terminal too much?
Whatever your reason, GoogleOT has you covered!

The idea behind the program is that you can use google programs on the Unix Terminal.


googleot   Requirements   googleot

Operating System:

  • mac logo Mac OS mac logo (Requires Brew)
  • linux logo Linux linux logo (Debian Based: Preferably Ubuntu)
    (As of testing, Kali Linux does not work with this tool!)

Packages:

Python Library (Pip3):

  1. Download manually from the Github page.

  1. Type in your terminal: git clone https://www.github.com/lin8x/googleot

Open your terminal and type: chmod +x * and sudo python3 setup.py

Once Finished Setup


Type and enter googleot to run the tool or Open the application in your application menu.

Troubleshooting

If typing googleot does not work, then either you did not run the setup.py file or your linux distro doesn't support the file setup it uses.

Most files go to /usr/share/googleot-file, googleot.desktop goes to /usr/share/applications/, and googleot goes to /usr/bin.
