Working on a server with no GUI? Don't want to use any browsers? Or you just enjoy the terminal too much?
Whatever your reason, GoogleOT has you covered!
The idea behind the program is that you can use google programs on the Unix Terminal.
Operating System:
- Mac OS (Requires Brew)
- Linux (Debian Based: Preferably Ubuntu)
(As of testing, Kali Linux does not work with this tool!)
Packages:
- googler
- python3
- pip3
Python Library (Pip3):
- Download manually from the Github page.
- Type in your terminal:
git clone https://www.github.com/lin8x/googleot
Open your terminal and type:
chmod +x *
and
sudo python3 setup.py
Type and enter googleot
to run the tool or Open the application in your application menu.
If typing googleot
does not work, then either you did not run the setup.py
file or your linux distro doesn't support the file setup it uses.
Most files go to /usr/share/googleot-file
, googleot.desktop
goes to /usr/share/applications/
, and googleot
goes to /usr/bin
.
