Following #74 I decided to keep this feature but rewrite it in a more robust way both in terms of internal implementation and user experience and reliability.

I haven't decided on the exact outcome, but breaking change in the API or behaviour is possible, or even likely. I'll add more to this issue once I cleared my thoguhts on the topic.

Rewrote it in 2.0.0 in the next branch. Will release an alpha this week.
