that's literally it. I rebooted my PC, ran as admin, looked it up, and all sorts of stuff; once, and never again.
(Oh, and before you ask, I don't have a XBOX ONE controller plugged in; all I have plugged in is my mouse, and I already tried opening LS w/o it plugged in.)
UPDATE:
Okay, so I found a bit more info on this. The details (as seen in the Event Viewer,) of the error that occurred when I last tried to load LS are:
Exception Info: System.IO.FileNotFoundException
at LiveSplit.Program.Main(System.String[])
The source of this error is ".NET Runtime," so something's likely up with the code of LS itself, as it's creating a .NET Runtime Error.
My guess is that LiveSplit can't access the file it wants, so it shits its pants.
I might try moving LS into another folder, as that might be the reason it can't grab the file, whatever it is.
UPDATE 2:
Okay, I moved the files to a different folder, and I got the same error from Event Viewer.
Something's seriously broken here, or I've just got some seriously bad luck.
