Sunshine Versions 0.22.0 Crashes at Startup with No Such File or Directory Error #2212
Comments
Please give this build a try and see if it fixes your crash (and also allows NVENC to work): https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine/actions/runs/8149346896/artifacts/1296931318 |
Sorry, but how do I use that package. It seems to install |
I believe there is something wrong with your ci pipeline when it comes to the arch linux package it does not include the executable. I downloaded the fedora and ubuntu artificats from the link you gave me and those both include the sunshine executable that would normaly go in |
Couldn't make the fedora or ubuntu binaries work because arch doesn't have the same version of the dependencies that it is looking for. |
Did you install it with |
No I did When extracting the package, I noticed there is a src folder with a bunch of cpp and header files in there, but no `/usr/ folder. |
I have asked pacman to show me what files that package installs and here is what it says.
|
As you can see there is no executable in |
I think I found the issue... I'm surprised no one has reported this. |
That is great and sometimes these things slip by. The most popular package in the aur is the built from source version, so maybe not a lot of people were using the generated packages? |
@d-air1 in the meantime you can use the |
I'll do that as soon as I make it back home. |
Packaging issue will be fixed by #2214 |
I've made it back home and used the PKGBUILD to build the package and can confirm that the issue has been fixed. Thanks for all of your efforts. |
Thanks for testing. Reopening the issue temporarily. It will be closed when the PR is merged. |

Describe the Bug
After updating to version 0.22.0 sunshine crashes at startup. I will include the output from the terminal as the log, since it is crashing I can not capture a log from sunshine itself.
Expected Behavior
It shouldn't crash
Additional Context
From what I can tell the path that it is looking for does exist
/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:2B:00.0/drm
however it looks like this instead/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:2b:00.0/drm
. The difference is that theB
is lowercased on my system which is why it can seem to find that path.Host Operating System
