Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
This tool works under Wayland fine. Verified under KDE.

Describe the solution you'd like
Remove the relevant section from the README.

Additional context
Maybe it's because I am using i2c-dev and ddcutil.

Do the color temperature sliders also work?

I have been using Wayland with KDE for quite sometime. I will give it a try and get back

No they don't unfortunately, but I believe KDE has these in their own system settings so it's fine for me.

its not working under wayland for me.. using Fedora 39

Doesn't work for me on Wayland. I did a clean install of Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. Changing the brightness or any other settings does nothing when on Wayland.
