Hello! I assumed that it was a conflict of extensions, and the LuaLS extension already had some way of listing the file's methods, so I tried disabling the 'go-to-method' extension. But even with only the LuaLS installed, the 'Go to symbol' menu (Ctrl+Shift+O) still shows duplicate functions and fields. This is not a problem that is happening only on my computer: my work colleague is experiencing the same problem. There is one more thing that I noticed that it's very strange: when there is an error in the file, the duplication problem disappears: Does anyone know what could be happening? |

I don't seem to have multiple entries for my current file. Are you using a library? Some more details about your workspace will be needed. |

I fixed the conflict by creating a new extension, which is the same as the
vscode-lua
by trixnz, but with the option to disable the "Go to Symbol" feature. If anybody wants it, its here: vscode-lua-no-symbol.
