This repository contains examples that go along with Grant Ingersoll's talk on "Solr for Data Science"
Please make sure you have the following:
- Python 2.7
- Python libs: optparse, urllib2, time, datetime, os, json, random, optparse, httplib2, traceback, pysolr. Note, for PySolr, you need lxml version 3 or later, per django-haystack/pysolr#72
- NodeJS (I tested on 0.10.35)
- A modern browser, such as the latest Chrome or Firefox
- If you haven't already, clone this project:

- Open
static/solr-citi.html
in a browser for details on the tutorial
