  • Fixes some vertex groups not being merged if the group they were being merged into was missing. This often affected models that were split into multiple meshes. (like if they had hair and glasses as separate parts)

Should work with any Blender version from 2.8 and later, including 3.0+ and 4.0+ (last tested on 4.1)

Save the .zip file somewhere and import it directly into Blender, using the instructions here. No unzipping needed.

  • Fixes a significant issue causing extra vertex groups to be added to many vertices.

Should work with any Blender version from 2.8 and later. (Blender 3 too)

  • No longer naively removes any Armature modifier on the mesh. (This action could break the user's model with no warning, if they'd already linked it up with the Tower Unite armature.)
  • No longer suggests the user deletes the imported Sims 4 rig before running. (This step is unnecessary; this was just a leftover hint for my friends who were less used to Blender and needed the reminder.)

Should work with any Blender version from 2.8 and later. (Blender 3 too)

  • Minor change to ensure it didn't report a successful "fix" when the selected mesh had no vertex groups to fix.

Should work with any Blender version from 2.8 and later. (Blender 3 too)
