WORKS WITH THE LATEST SKATER XL PUBLIC RELEASE (1.2.2.8)

Welcome to the future of XLGearModifier!!

Over the last year and a half, we've taken a break to really evaluate what was important and what needed changing , all of which finally got this mod back on track. Thanks to a little help from Easy Day Studios, by releasing the latest version of SXL, and countless hours from @mcbtay, we are finally able to bring you XLGM 2.0.

PLEASE IGNORE ALL OTHER VERSIONS OF THIS MOD. THEY ARE NOT OUR OFFICIAL RELEASE AND THEY COULD POSSIBLY CONTAIN MALWARE, VIRUSES, OR UNWANTED BAD THINGS.

Also included is the Unity package you can use in your Unity project. These scripts have been updated since our initial XLGM v1.5 release.

Known Issues:

  • XLMenuMod compatibility - For now, the mod is compatible with XLMenuMod, but on the "Custom Meshes" tab, you won't see your folders or anything quite yet. Still actively working on this.

  • Clothing Gear MetaData Script - Sometimes the Alpha threshold selection or value will no longer save your changes. The only way to fix this is to delete the entire script and add it again.

Limitations:

  • Custom Skater Alpha Masking - Let's say you have a custom skater with the normal Male Skater body and a custom head. When trying to equip clothing, as it stands, the clothing "alpha masking" will not affect the Custom Skater's body. This should be possible, but currently it does not work from our testing.

  • Alpha Clipping Clothing - For example, the "adjustable height" socks or "hiding" an undershirt. These are not possible with the Shader we are using for clothing. We are working on a way to return this feature in the future. This does not apply to Hair or Facial Hair, as those will always allow for Alpha Clipping.
