Test client crashes in Minecraft 1.16.5 #2330
Comments
We have the same issue! |
Try deleting C:\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\config\fml.toml |
Didn't work for me and if this issue and my issue are about the same thing there would be a high chance of theirs not working either |
The issue is the following: Minecraft 1.16.5 uses Java 8. |
Have you tried uninstalling MCreator and re-installing it? |
Since my issue were also that MCreator was launching in java 16, I'll also respond to this and I reinstalled everything to no avail. Any ideas on how I can manually change Java version for MCreator? |
Try deleting C:\Users\anana.mcreator\gradle If this does not help, you may need to wait for the next release to fix this |
Yeah I knew it had something todo with the new Java patch! Thank you for your help anyways! |
We can track the progress of fixing here: MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge#8436 and here: MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge#8423 |
There may be a MCreator update needed to fix this |
Fix found, incoming patch release of 2021.3 |
