In our project, a number of publicly available datasets are being provided. This wiki lists important information regarding this dataset. Without the availability of this dataset, it would not be possible to provide evidence of our results. Further, by sharing this dataset we provide important insights about the novelty of our project to the scientific community. This wiki is intended to be used as a reference for the concepts and instructions of the presented dataset. If you are new for the project, it is important that you follow this wiki with attention.
Unique domain issues with medical image datasets require further study, development, and dissemination of best practices and standards, and a coordinated effort among medical imaging domain experts, medical imaging informaticists, government and industry data scientists, and interested commercial, academic, and government entities. High-level attributes of reusable medical image datasets suitable to train, test, validate, verify, and regulate healthcare products should be better described. In the MIMBCD-UI project, we aim to improve communication among medical imaging domain experts, medical imaging informaticists, academic clinical and basic science researchers, government and industry data scientists, and interested commercial entities.
