An exception is thrown on launch when running on a Nokia Lumia. The exception message and stack trace are here: http://pastebin.com/RfV478Qi

I'm running Visual Studio 2015 Community RC (14.0.22823.1). Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10130.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this might happen?

Hi Dale,

Thanks for the information.

You mention the the code should run fine on a Windows 10 device. However, I
am receiving the runtime exceptions on a Windows 10 mobile device. Is this
expected?

I'd like to get this set up if I can. Is there anything that I can do to
help?

Rgds,
Aaron.

There is currently a bug in the Windows 10 Emulator for CoreInput pointer
events. The Visual Studio templates for Windows 10 DirectX/XAML projects
also have this problem in the emulator. The code runs fine on a Windows 10
device. I will be pushing some changes in the next few days that work
around this problem. For now just run the Windows Store App to test your
game. Windows 10 for Phone still requires unreleased updates to Visual
Studio 2015 to fully work properly.
