@charris for pandas we are still planning a couple of releases on 1.3.x before we drop Python 3.7 support according to NEP 29 pandas-dev/pandas#41678. I am curious as to why numpy has stopped building the wheels now and should we do the same?

This PR drops them in master, which is for the next minor release (1.22.0, planned for December). This repo also has a v1.21.x branch, so we can still make 3.7 releases there. I imagine you can do the same, assuming you want to drop 3.7 for pandas 1.4.0 (depends on NEP 29 timing)?

Thanks @rgommers I didn't release this repo used more than one branch. In https://github.com/MacPython/pandas-wheels we only have the one branch.

yes for https://github.com/pandas-dev/pandas we have already dropped 3.7 from master. the next pandas release from master will be 1.4 at the end of the year.
