This django project built in a research project submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the award of bachelor of engineering (b. eng.) degree in metallurgical and material engineering, University OF Nigeria, Nsukka. The research project is titled, Building A Machine Learning Model To Predict The Properties Of Composite Materials Based On Their Constituent Materials
1. Clone the repository: `git clone https://github.com/Mandyiee/complearn.git`
2. Create a virtual environment: `python -m venv venv`
3. Activate the virtual environment: `source venv/bin/activate` (on Unix-based systems)
4. Install project dependencies: `pip install -r requirements.txt`
5. Configure database settings in `settings.py`
6. Run migrations: `python manage.py migrate`
7. Start the development server: `python manage.py runserver`
1. Access the admin panel at: `http://localhost:8000/admin/`
2. Use the following credentials to log in:
- Username: `admin`
- Password: `password123`
3. Explore the dashboard and manage your content.
This project was built with a decisiontree machine learning model to enable materials select the best composition for their chosen purpose
