Small improvements

• log.level() now works as expected
• Multi-line strings passed to log() are properly formatted

This project has been left behind after having scratched its itch back then.

Having had to fix an annoying bug while working on a different project, I realised I had never tagged a release, so let's call this 1.0 and get it out of the way.
