  • add main license file to repo
  • clarify the existing license of CC BY SA

Is there a reason to use CC-BY 3.0 instead of version 4.0? If I read https://doctorow.medium.com/a-bug-in-early-creative-commons-licenses-has-enabled-a-new-breed-of-superpredator-5f6360713299 right the 3.0 version may leave space for copyleft trolls.

thanks @jratike80 excellent point, a good time to upgrade to 4.0 as you said (I've issued #796 to handle this)
