What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load data
2. Make mistake or decide change isn't needed or that you have loaded too large
an area
3. ??? Be confused. Even killing app or restarting phone doesn't help.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to clear loaded data without saving or uploading from the
menu.
Instead I can find no such option.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V.0.6.2 on Android 1.5 HTC Hero.

Please provide any additional information below.
Keep up the good work guys this app is important for OSM.

For reseting your data, you just have to download an area again, then it will
ask
you:
- to send the modified data,
- to cancel the current action (return to previous screen and do nothing),
- to delete your current data and redownload a new area.

I think you were looking for this 3rd option.

Do you think the ability to reset data (and only do this) is missing?

Personally I think issue 5 (history and undo function) is the real option
missing.

I think that there should be some clarification that downloading new data
clears the
current data from memory if this is the case. This is opposite from the
behaviour
that JOSM users will be used to, for example.

David:
Where would you like that button to be, what should be it´s name, icon and
exact behavior (confirmation-dialog,...)?

Option for incremental download should make it clear enough that the normal
download replaces current data.
